Liturgical Dance Day Proclamations

Hello Commissioners,

For some states it still may not be too late to send in a request for a state proclamation, so please send your Governor the attached proclamation request for them to sanction International Dance Commission "Liturgical Dance Day" on September 7, 2010.

Many states have difference guidelines for requesting proclamations. Please also visit your State Governor's website.

Attached is the letter template and a sample of a proclamation. The proclamation issued from the Governor usually includes your state seals and official signature.

As an alternative, you can try to submit one to your local city Mayor or government official that issues proclamations. Please contact Krishondra Gray, Liturgical Dance Day Coordinator, for more assistance.
