To believe when all means fail is exceedingly pleasing to God and is most acceptable. Jesus said to Thomas, “You have believed because you have seen, but blessed are those that do believe and have not seen” (John 20:29).
Recently I too have begun to pray for those using "doubting Thomas" as an excuse ~ this is encouraging ... it is the heart of the one seeking to the know the Truth that gets moved through doubt, not the crutch of believing a lie that Jesus will just "appear to our liking" as if HE even has to prove Himself ~ yikes! May the Lord open the blind eyes so we may "see" Him and give Him glory! ~ isn't it amazing He used spit and mud to open blind eyes? Spit (often used as rejection) on dirt (that which Adam is made from) to open eyes? Amazing! ~ However a Spiritual spitting is when He rejects completely and His Word no longer anoints but is like the exclusion out of the garden of Eden ... I've been praying this throughout this week ....
