Has God Revoked your IDC membership?

Receiving Your Calling

1 Samuel 15:1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel;

Receiving Your Assignment

1 Samuel 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have and spare them not

Operating in Disobedience

1 Samuel 15:9 But Saul and the people spared Agag the king of the Amalekites, and the best of the sheep and of the oxen and of the fatlings and the lambs and all that was good and would not utterly destroy them; but everything that was vile and refuse that they destroyed utterly.

God's Repentenance

1 Samuel 15:11 I repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments.

The Assignment being Given to Another

1 Samuel 15:32-33

Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the King of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past. 33 And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the Lord in Gilgal. 34 then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul 35 And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death.

Questions for Thought

1.Has God given you a position or assignment and you like Saul have chosen to walk in partial obedience?

2.Has God given you specific directions for a project and you have put so much of yourself in it that God no longer recognizes the project or you?

3.Have you gotten to the point where you feel that no one can replace you?

4. Has God repented for giving you your present assignment?

5.Are you called to be a servant within IDC and your community?

My prayer is that I am never in a postion in life where the Lord would say " I repent that I allowed Kim to join IDC for she has chosen to go at it her way". I pray that unlike Saul when the word of the Lord goes forth I choose to be in total obedience. I have come to understand that when God has an assignment that needs to be completed, if we operate in the spirit of rebellion, doubt, resistance or pride (which are spirits that often exist in the Fine Arts Ministries) , we have just set ourselves up for failure and God's Glory can not be revealed no matter how well we package it. As I look back over my life, I can honestly say there were assignments that I haven't carried out for one reason or another and these assignments were given to someone else and I was left repenting. But I have made up my mind and declared " NO MORE REASSIGNMENTS".

I believe that God has assigned us all to be members and leaders within IDC and our community, I challenge us all to not be replaced in the spirit or in the natural due to disobedience or rebellion for rebellion is as a sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry and partial obedience is DISOBEDIENCE. Though most of us are Leaders within our own churches or communities we must always remember that within IDC our assignments are to be servants who operate under God's assigned leader Apostle Sabrina Mackenzie. Let us grab hold to our assignments within IDC and our own respective ministries and go forth and Glorify God .

  • AMEN!!!!!!
  • Good Evening Wynne,
By no meaning was my post meant to exalt IDC or any other organization above or equal to our Father. The post was simply to cause those who read it to reevaluate our God given assignments as well as the assignments that we have said yes to in the natural. I am truly enjoying my fellowship within IDC but by no means does it compare to my membership in Heaven.
