Hello Dance Ministers,I just wanted to post this blog for all the ministries out there who may want to help the babies. Some of you may already be aware of Traveling Tutus and have donated dance items. For those of you who do not know, Traveling Tutu's is a charity program that offers underprivilidge orphans previously used dance attire. They are currently collecting items to send to Casa Hogar Santa Julia Don Bosca Orphanage in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. This orphanage is a home to approximately40 girls ranging in age from babies to girls about 18 years of age. Many of these girls have lost both parents to death, while others have been left homeless due to extreme poverty in their country.Traveling Tutus want to bring "joy" to these girls through the gift of "dance" and I know you all know first hand what dancing can do for your spirit. These children have never been exposed to dancing, nor do they know what it is like to put on a pair of ballet slippers. Will you help MD Chapter/Jewels to help them?... I'm going to do something anyway...so I figured I would do a clarion call to my dance sistahs out here. If you here me, please respond, if its just to say...I'm sending them something or I'll help.I have partnered with Jenna in the past year to send dance garments to the orphans and I was recently in touch with her and I told her I would ask you all. So will you all help?I'm sure she could use some more things. If any of you can spare some items, you may get more information aboutTraveling Tutus on myspace.
