Keep Praying until it happens!(Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus). 1 Thess 5:16This means to turn on an awareness of God’s presence and continuing conversation with Him. Our connection with God becomes like a friend, or more accurately a father, who is always present and available… as if we were walking with God through life’s journey.INTIMACYOur faith and love towards God will lead us to recognise His presence with us, to talk with Him, to listen to Him, to sense Him. This is prayer. We express our thanks, our faith, our love, our hopes with God in prayer, and we receive from Him answers, assurance, guidance, peace, strength, power, revelation of who He is and what He wants to do.STAY ON THE BATTLEFIELDWe are in a serious battle of SPIRITUAL WARFARE WHICH WILL TAKE ARMYS OF INTERCESSORS’ PRAYING.GOD made it clear in Ephesians 6:11-12 ( NIV ) Put on the full armor of GOD so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Just landed from a 3-day cruise and was stunned to see so many people in one place at one time enjoy the cooperating with the devil. God gives us so many opportunities to assist Him while He blesses us and we don't have to look for opportunities to pray, they are always starring us in the face. We can't afford to take our armor off cause the battlefield is every where we step except . . . in His presence. Thanks for the reminder and a picture is worth a thousand words.
Amen Sistah. I am in agreement with you. The Lord has been dealing with me personally on this. We are in Spiritual Warfare. I know I have been. But the enemy is a liar! Here's a little prayer I like to offer:
" To Put On the Armor of God"
In the name of Jesus, I put on the whole armor of God, that I may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil; for I wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Therefore, I take unto myself the whole armor of God, that I may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand, I stand, therfore, having my loins girt about with truth. Your Word, Lord, which is truth, contains all the weapons of my warfare, which are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.
I have on the breastplate of righteousness, which is faith and love. My feet are shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace. In Christ Jesus I have peace and pursue peace with all men. I am a minister of reconciliation, proclaiming the good news of the Gospel.
I take the shield of faith, wherewith I am able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked; the helmet of salvation (holding the thoughts, feelings, and purpose of God's heart); and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. In the face of all trials, tests, temptations, and tribulation, I cut to pieces the snare of the enemy by speaking the Word of God. Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.
Thank You, Father, for the armor. I will pray at all times - on every occasion, in every season - in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end I will keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints. My power and ability and sufficiency are from God Who has qualified me as a minister and a dispenser of a new covenant (of salvation through Christ). Amen.
