Time and Time Again
Father God you have asked us time and time again to obey your word.
But still, and still, and still we will not bend to your will.
We strive and cease to obey and all through the day we want to have our own way.
We will not listen, we will not hear, but turn our backs with deafening ears.
Obey me, your word tells us to do, but for some reason we will not follow the truth.
Come back to me my children; Come back to me my beloved.
It only takes a second to hear from the Lord above.
Why do you not listen? Why do you not hear? Why do you turn away from the dear Lord and fear?
Listen with your ears, obey me, be still. I will then turn to heal your land and wipe away your tears.
