Greetings Dance Ministers.
If you will be in the Los Angeles, CA area in mid-June, Marlita Hill and Dancing Hill Ministries will be launching a choreography teaching, "Unlocking Movement that Speaks (UMS)." Further details will follow soon.
UMS is a hands-on, learn-by-doing teaching on the tools and principles of the choreographic process. This information will equip you, the dance minister, to tap into movement that speaks and visually expounds on the words coming forth through the songs you minister.
As we explore tools and principles including ways to use repetition, formations, transitions, levels, directions, spatial relationships, and groupings, you will discover many new ways to use your body to create visual imagery that gives body to the word and clarifies the meaning, intent, and attitude within the words of your song.
Session Length: 4.5 hours
Cost: $25/person
