  • Greetings Dance Ministers that are interested in the Hospitality Committee, please let me know your availability for this coming Saturday to teleconference for about an hour or so around 8 pm.

    Hospitality Committee:  Responsible for displaying the spirit of hospitality to all visitors and conference attendees throughout the entire event.  Will work in shifts as greeters at certain key locations of the hotel and/or airport (i.e lobby, exhibition hall, ground transportation etc).  Serves as ushers and floor workers for the evening services.  Answers questions, directs the flow of traffic to breakout rooms and general sessions.  May be asked to serve as an armor bearer or assistant to conference staff or speakers.

     

    Speaker Coordinator:  Works with Pastor McKenzie and Executive Assistant throughout the entire planning process to coordinate the needs of the conference facilitators and keynote speakers.  Arranges transportation, hotel rooms and meals.  Communicates regularly with the office staff of the speakers and facilitators.  Represents the ministry well.   Must be professional and spiritually mature at all times.  Should have extensive experience with planning large conferences and business meetings.  Position requires an interview with the Executive staff.

     

    Marketplace and Vendor Committee:  Identifies companies to target as sponsors; communicates with small businesses and corporations to solicit both journal and online ads, give-a-away and sample items for door prizes and gift baskets.  Monitors the vendor area at the conference to ensure that all vendors are adhering to guidelines regarding vending hours, set-up, break down, table placement and special needs.     Finds effective means to reach out to businesses and vendors in order to have a large and robust marketplace within the exhibition hall for this years conference.
