Say you believe?
Say you confess Christ as your SAVIOR?
Say you will do everything He tells you to do?
Say you plead, "use me Lord"?
Yes, you believe - until things get real, real "tight". . .
Yes, you confess with your heart, mouth, mind and soul - until your back is against the wall. . .
Yes, while basking in the Spirit, you say "use me, Lord" - later, you find yourself in a situation that is less-than-ideal...
What are we doing here?
Are we sometimes just a "repeat performance" of what the Word illustrates:
1 Cor 10:12 (so sure of OURSELVES that we slip and fall)
Matt 26:33-35 (fearing others, we deny Him)
Jonah 1-3 9 (fleeing Him when you KNOW you've heard Him)
Eccles 5:4-7 (oh. be careful little mouths what you say!)
Therefore, let's be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. (James 1:19)
